Company History

In 1979 Sam started Bajan Services Limited, and over the years has expanded on the foundation his father created.  Today his company is one of the most recognized Real Estate Brokers specializing on the West Coast of Barbados. Sam has worked diligently to increase his select portfolio of luxury rental villas, but still maintains the personal touch that Bajan Services has become known for.

The Property Sales department is headed by Sam Mahon and staffed with a team of experienced Real Estate Brokers - Pixie Mahon, John Mahon, Dawn Allen and Annalee Warren. The department handles all sales enquiries which come to the company both from the local and international markets and we pride ourselves on providing honest and professional information to prospective clients.

We invite the most attractive property listings and have an extensive portfolio for sale. From the moment you enter Bajan Services, our professional staff will supply you with current sales information. The Sales Agents will personally ensure that you view the properties by arranging all appointments and accompanying you to the viewings. They will discuss with you the procedure for purchasing property on the island, including all relevant taxes and incentives, as well as recommend reputable local attorneys and/or financial advisers in order to guarantee that your transaction goes as smoothly and trouble free as possible. Our efficient Sales Team will also keep you abreast of the status of your pending sale with progress reports and follow-up calls.

In addition, Bajan Services offers an extensive range of residences for long term rental, usually defined as a one-year term. Ideally suited to the client who is relocating to Barbados, our beautifully-appointed, comfortable homes and apartments are located within some of the finest residential areas. Most offshore businesses and major project developers have also come to us for their housing needs.

Enjoying a holiday in a villa or luxury condominium in Barbados can definitely be considered one of life’s finer luxuries and our diverse range of properties offer something to please everyone – couples, groups of friends or families – and each comes with a friendly and efficient staff to cater to your every need. Our team of dedicated Reservations Agents specializing in holiday villa rentals, headed by Sherry Marshall, work closely with both direct clients and overseas agents to book the most suitable villa for each clients’ holiday. They make all the necessary arrangements prior to clients' arrival which may include:

• Having guests met at the airport and transported to their villas.
• Stocking villas with groceries (and special dietary requirements).
• Having villa staff prepare meals for guests' arrival.
• Arranging hired cars to be delivered either to the airport or guests' villa.
• All special requests prior to guests' arrival.

We have come a long way since 1979 but our commitment to excellent service remains our priority. To this end, we have implemented an on-line booking reservations system so that you can conveniently plan your holiday from the comfort of your own home or office. We have also entered into an agreement with Virgin Atlantic and our guests can now earn air miles when booking our villas.

Many of our visitors are repeat guests and it is our aim to make their holiday as stress-free and relaxing as possible.

Our team of villa managers is headed up by Maureen Hackett and they take care of our visitors and villa owners alike while on the island. These experienced and competent ladies and gentlemen are each responsible for a number of villas and oversee the smooth running of each property. Villa Mangers meet guests, usually the day after arrival to welcome them to Barbados and our villas and brief them on activities to do on the island such as:

• Island tours
• Sail boat cruises
• Day trips to neighbouring islands
• Restaurant recommendations
• Island culture etc.

Di's Décor

Creatively spearheaded by Dianne Mahon, Di's Décor is the in-house interior decorating service responsible for the tasteful decor and furnishings present in many West Coast villas.

Specialising in custom made designs and utilizing indigenous materials such as mahogany, pine and coral stone, Dianne creates a personalized signature for every client. Di's Décor encourages sourcing of local art and using local talent for particular properties.

Established since 1988, her team prides itself on excellence and an eye for detail. Preferring to use locally supplied products where possible, Dianne will only travel abroad to purchase fittings and other accessories not available on the island.

The accounts department consists of seven competent ladies, headed by Accountant - Cynthia Brooks. Working hours are 8.00am - 4.00pm Monday - Friday, but they always go the extra mile to get the job done. The department is responsible for handling all financial transactions for the villa owners which includes preparing wages for the villa staff, paying utilities and any other payment necessary. On a monthly basis, statutory returns such as National Insurance, PAYE and Value Added Tax are filed for each individual house owner. There is constant interaction between the accounts department and all other departments to facilitate the smooth running of the villas.
